Step 1: Initial Consultation

In this hour-long initial consultation, we’ll do an extensive review of your health history, a 3-day food journal review, go over the symptoms and concerns you’re currently experiencing and review your health goals.

Step 2: Comprehensive Programs

It requires at least 3 months of consistent behavioral practices to make long-lasting, sustainable lifestyle changes. Depending on the level of healing your body requires, we’ll spend 3-6 months tackling your symptoms at the root. These programs offer a high level of accountability and support and help to provide you with a deeper understanding of what’s been going on with your health.

3-Month: Grow Your Roots

WHO THIS PROGRAM IS FOR

The individual struggling with general health concerns and is looking to make diet and lifestyle changes to support overall health and wellness. You’re tired of hearing that your symptoms and lab results are “normal” and you know there has to be a way to feel better than you do.

WHAT THIS PROGRAM IS

This 3-month program is designed to help you address the root cause of your health issues and improve your symptoms and overall health with a bio-individualized nutrition protocol, informative coaching sessions and motivational support.

This program will take your nutrition knowledge to the next level and will educate you on how to improve your health (and maintain it!) with a variety of tools. I’ll teach you how to simplify food choices, fuel your body with the right foods, use food as medicine, and adopt lifelong habits that will keep you feeling your best, long-term.

This package includes a 60-minute action plan where we go over your protocol in depth, five (5) 30-minute follow-up sessions, sample meal plans, educational handouts & resources, text and email support between sessions during business hours.

6-Month: Journey to Thriving

WHO THIS PROGRAM IS FOR

The individual struggling with more chronic digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, metabolic issues or other health concerns. Designed for those who require more in-depth gut/ hormone healing and are committed to making long-term, sustainable changes in their life.

WHAT THIS PROGRAM IS

This 6month program is an extension of Grow Your Roots where we’ll dive deep into the gut microbiome, hormones and metabolic health. I incorporate lab testing to give me the most accurate information so that I can effectively create a diet and healing protocol for YOU that gives your body exactly what it needs and removes anything that’s getting in the way of your healing.

If you’re someone who suffers from chronic digestive issues, hormone imbalances, anxiety, depression, low energy, blood sugar swings, acne, insomnia, adrenal fatigue, thyroid imbalances, autoimmunity, weight loss/gain, cravings, fatigue, chronic inflammation – this program is for you.

This package includes a 60-minute action plan, two (2) 30-minute follow-up sessions per month, functional lab testing, bi-weekly e-mail check in, lab analysis, sample meal plans, printable educational handouts & resources, text and email support.

Follow-Up Sessions

Designed for those needing additional support after completing a package. In our 45-minute follow-up sessions we will review progress, conduct any reassessments as needed and update your personalized plan.

We will discuss what’s working for you, what you might need more support on and come up with a long-term plan to help you achieve and sustain your health goals. After our session together, you will receive an updated nutrition protocol and any other resources (guides, books, recipes) that will support you on your journey.

Pantry & Fridge Makeover

Are you ready for your pantry to be fresh, clean, and full of healthy and nourishing foods? By getting rid of items that no longer serve us in our wellness journey, we make it easier to make intentional food choices that will allow us to feel energized and balanced.

With this service, we will work together to go through the food items you have in your pantry and refrigerator and we will determine which ones you want to keep in your life, which you would like to find a healthier alternative to, and which ones you would like to let go of – noting each item you have and how it affects your health. We’ll toss the bad and replace it with the delicious!

This service includes a 60-minute online or in-person session where will discuss healthy staples and alternatives and how to keep your fridge full of nourishing products.

Not accepting insurance at this time. All services and packages must be paid in full via virtual invoice before your first appointment. Payment plans for nutrition packages are available for your convenience. Accepting payment via HSA (health savings accounts) as well.

FAQ

What is functional nutrition?

Functional nutrition is a science-based, holistic approach which seeks to identify the root causes of symptoms and addresses underlying imbalances so that the client can achieve and maintain optimal health. Rooted in bio-individuality and understanding that every body is unique, all plans and protocols are customized for the client’s current needs and include diet, mindset and lifestyle recommendations in order to promote optimal wellness. This is not a quick fix! True healing takes time and commitment.

How is it different from other programs?

I take a bio-individual approach with each client I see - there is no one-size fits all approach when it comes to nutrition. I take a holistic approach to health because everything in our bodies is connected. I work to restore clients health with a food-first approach while bringing all areas of the body back into balance. I believe that food IS medicine, and by eating nutrient-dense whole foods, making lifestyle changes, and reducing stress, we can provide the nutrients our bodies are deeply craving to function optimally!

How do we meet?

We will meet virtually through my HIPAA compliant client portal called Practice Better.

How long can I expect to reach my health goals?

It all depends on your health history and what the root cause of your symptoms is. I work with clients for a minimum of 3 months, so you can expect to start there. For many clients, 3-6 months is enough time to make long-term progress, but it can take longer depending on the individual. 

Will I have to follow a specific diet?

I personally do not like to use the word diet as it tends to be overly restrictive. When working with clients I like to see how you are currently eating and what we can add in to better support your overall health. If there is any specific type of food protocol used, it will be used therapeutically for only a short period of time. I believe that when it comes to food, if our focus is on nutrient-dense, whole foods - no specific diet is needed. Elimination methods may be used to identify and address potential food sensitivities or as method of healing - this would be short term.
